Zalgo go home you're drunk
Written by: Timlah | Written on: 9 May 2025 | Estimated reading time: less than a minuteThis isn't really a full article, but more trying to see what would happen to my markdown reader when I try to get it to parse Zalgo. If you're unfamiliar with it, Zalgo is an old meme format where a font's use of characters, unicode and diacritic markers are placed above and below characters, mostly thanks to the ability of modern fonts.
The below is Zalgo as interpreted by the markdown transforming library, Laika.
The question is: Will this "blog post" survive? Only one way to find out.

If you've been able to read all this, then all's good with the world. Nothing more today, just a curiosity about how this markdown transformer will handle a strange circumstance.
Bonus: Emojis, too? 😁
